The Center Store Specialist will serve as the store’s point person for excellence across key center store categories including Dairy, Frozen, Bulk, Coffee, Candy, and Beer & Wine. The role ensures product freshness, pricing accuracy, merchandising compliance, inventory integrity, and guest engagement while supporting operational standards.

The pay range for this position is $18.19 - $19.40 per hour.

• Ensure all Center Store categories meet freshness and quality standards, including proper rotation, dating, and temperature compliance for dairy and frozen items.
• Execute planograms and maintain accurate product placement and signage.
• Coordinate with department leadership on ordering and replenishment of dairy, frozen, bulk, coffee, candy, beer and wine.
• Verify deliveries for accuracy and freshness, ensuring proper receiving and storage procedures.
• Play a key role in compliance during key item transitions and promotional events.
• Support front‑end operations during peak business times as a cashier or in other areas.
• Engage guests with a friendly, helpful approach when on the sales floor.

This position requires a willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, days, evenings, and holidays.

• 2+ years of experience in retail, grocery, restaurant, or hospitality operations.
• Strong attention to detail with organizational skills, ability to multitask, and work at a fast pace.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Retail, culinary, and/or grocery experience.
• Experience with electronic shelf label systems, inventory management technology, or AI‑enabled retail tools.

• Repetitive hand/arm movements, grasping, bending, reaching, ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds by oneself, and exposure to extreme temperatures.
• Ability to use tools and equipment: knives, ladders, stepstools, box cutters, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
• Required to spend long periods of time on feet and stand or walk without a break (for up to 4 hours or as required by law).
• Required to wear an approved hat, hair net, and/or beard guard, and personal protective equipment.
