Salary Range: $18.00 to $20.00 Hourly

Delivery Merchandiser is responsible for following a driver to merchandise retail accounts. This role is nonexempt and reports to the Delivery Manager.

• Functions
  • Fill, rotate, and merchandise products in cold vaults, shelves and displays
  • Move product from pallets to cooler to stock using a hand truck
  • Organize, rotate, and maintain backroom coolers for easy access
  • Maintain professional behavior with all accounts serviced

• Transitional program to train and develop Delivery Merchandiser to Sales role.

• Ability to communicate orally or in written form effectively with internal and external customers
• Maintain a smartphone with data plan capable of operating delivery software
• Broad knowledge of company objectives
• Ability to read and understand merchandise pricing and invoicing
• Excellent computer skills in all applicable programs
• The Delivery Merchandiser must demonstrate the ability to anticipate and solve practical problems or resolve issues

• Valid driver’s license for a minimum of 60 months
• Driving record free of significant violations and meeting company policies and standards

• High School Diploma or Equivalent

While performing the responsibilities of the Delivery Merchandiser, the employee is required to talk and hear. The employee is often required to sit and use their hands and fingers, to handle or feel. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee is required to lift a minimum weight of 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the course of the day.

In addition, they are required to functionally lift and maneuver up to 165 pounds with the assistance of a hand truck or lifting implement. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision

While performing the duties of this job in the internal and external environment, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicles. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high. While performing duties of this job in the field environment, the employee will be exposed on a regular basis to moving mechanical parts, motor vehicles and traffic.

In addition, the exposure while in customer locations cannot be projected. These conditions may vary, and the employee will receive adequate training to recognize and avoid hazards that cannot be described as expected. Noise levels will range from quiet to loud.
