Salary: $18.00 to $21.00 per hour. Additional paid commission and bonuses are available.
Commission structure: retail sales associates can earn up to 8% on transactions, averaging an additional $5.66 per hour on top of the hourly rate.

We are seeking an Assistant Store Manager with a minimum of six months of management or 3rd key experience. Assistant Store Managers are accountable for the day‑to‑day operations of the store and promoting a positive, productive environment. This role partners with the Store Manager to lead and develop employees, recruit and retain top talent, maximize financial goals, and manage customer relations and satisfaction.
The position requires commitment to the company’s asset protection program, promotion of the business, and acquisition of new customers. Employees work with a wide variety of jewelry and general merchandise, including tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations) and more. The role offers an hourly wage, with commission based on productivity and a bonus based on store performance.
Responsibilities- Facilitate a customer‑centric environment by engaging customers in a friendly and professional manner and rapidly addressing customer issues.
- Monitor and assist in training pawnbrokers to meet First Cash standards.
- Recruit top talent through company‑prescribed channels.
- Open and close the store, including counting cash drawers and merchandise, and ensuring all procedures are followed.
- Ensure asset protection through inventory control, property safety procedures, documentation, and securing customer loans.
- Administer store processes and procedures, including inventory, loan management, merchandising, presentation, store systems, and enterprise‑level reporting.
- Evaluate the store’s financial statements and drive profitability through communication and goal setting.
- Ensure operating standards meet or exceed First Cash standards.
- Monitor loan qualification and buying processes to ensure the value and integrity of all loans issued.
- Complete assigned tasks and training for self‑development as requested.
- Communicate clearly with employees to ensure understanding of the store’s mission and profit objectives.
- Remain up‑to‑date on product knowledge.
- Act as manager on duty in the absence of the Store Manager.
