A rapidly expanding national supplier is seeking a Sales Growth Representative to drive revenue growth across automotive and distribution channels. This high-impact role focuses on strengthening distributor partnerships, expanding market share, and developing new business opportunities within the automotive sector. The ideal candidate brings strong automotive sales experience, distributor relationship management expertise, and a proven ability to grow accounts while capturing new customers in competitive markets.
Position OverviewThis role is responsible for managing an established distributor portfolio while aggressively pursuing new revenue opportunities. You will drive profitable growth through account development, upselling, market expansion, and strategic sales initiatives within automotive-focused markets. This is a performance-driven position with strong earning potential and career advancement opportunities.
Key Responsibilities Automotive Sales & Account Growth- Serve as the primary contact for an established distributor network
- Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships
- Grow existing accounts through upselling and cross‑selling initiatives
- Develop strategies to increase market share within automotive channels
- Provide product and sales training to distributors to drive sell‑through
- Manage and support external sales partners to align with growth targets
- Identify, prospect, and secure new distributors and customers
- Execute account growth plans and expansion strategies
- Achieve or exceed annual new revenue targets while maintaining strong margins
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and market opportunities
- Support eCommerce growth initiatives
- Coordinate marketing campaigns including digital, print, and social media
- Manage influencer partnerships and promotional programs
- Develop and distribute promotional communications and email campaigns
- Plan and execute trade shows and industry events to generate leads
- Meet or exceed assigned revenue and profitability targets
- Maintain accurate activity tracking and reporting in CRM systems
- Support national sales and brand initiatives
- 2–5 years of sales experience, with strong preference for automotive industry experience
- Background in automotive parts, accessories, equipment, or related distribution sales highly preferred
- Demonstrated success growing existing accounts and generating new business
- Strong negotiation, relationship‑building, and communication skills
- Experience working with distributor networks or channel sales environments
- Marketing coordination or event planning experience is a plus
- Self‑motivated, results‑driven, and comfortable in a growth‑focused environment
- Base salary: $45,000
- Commission on existing account revenue
- Commission on new business development
- On‑target earnings of approximately $79,000+ with uncapped earning potential
