Salary: $79K total comp with upside uncapped

Junior Sales Representative

A growing national supplier is seeking a Junior Sales Representative to support revenue growth across automotive and distribution channels. This entry-level role focuses on developing sales skills, supporting distributor relationships, and identifying new business opportunities within the automotive market.

Position Overview

In this role, you will support an established distributor network while learning to identify and pursue new revenue opportunities. You’ll assist with account development, customer relationship management, and sales initiatives while gaining hands-on experience in automotive-focused markets.

This position offers structured learning, mentorship, strong earning potential, and clear opportunities for career advancement.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in managing relationships with distributor and customer accounts

Support account growth through upselling and cross-selling efforts

Build strong relationships with customers and external partners

Provide product information and sales support to distributors

Help develop strategies to increase market presence within automotive channels

Business Development

Identify and research potential customers and distributors

Support outreach and prospecting efforts

Assist with account growth initiatives and market expansion strategies

Monitor industry trends and competitor activity

Marketing & Brand Support

Assist with marketing campaigns, promotions, and product communications

Support eCommerce and digital sales initiatives

Help coordinate trade shows, events, and promotional activities

Contribute to lead generation efforts

Track sales activities and customer interactions in CRM systems

Support reporting and performance tracking

Assist with national sales initiatives and team projects

Qualifications

Three months (or more) of sales, customer service, or related experience (internships welcome)

Interest in automotive products, parts, or distribution markets preferred

Strong communication and relationship-building skills

Willingness to learn sales processes and account management practices

Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and growth mindset

Basic computer and CRM proficiency

Compensation

Commission opportunities on account growth and new business

On-target earnings of approximately $79,000+ with uncapped earning potential
