Territory and Travel
  • Field‑based sales position covering the Birmingham, Alabama territory, including Birmingham, Huntsville, and Tuscaloosa.
  • The selected candidate must reside within the territory.
  • Overnight travel may be required about 25% of the time, depending on exact location within the geography.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain in‑depth knowledge of product value, create logical rationale, and position our company’s oncology immunotherapy against competition.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers, meeting with key personnel to understand practice structure, business model, and key influencers.
  • Possess knowledge of cancer staging, treatment options, dosing schedules, and clinical trial impact across multiple tumor types.
  • Analyze and identify trends in a complex buying environment, including drug distribution channels, GPOs, wholesalers, and specialty pharmacies.
  • Understand complex account interdependencies, develop short‑ and long‑term account plans with stakeholders, and collaborate with the Customer Team Leader.
  • Influence beyond geography or product area by asking strategic, insightful questions to obtain customer needs, aligning stakeholder insights, and positioning oncology brands.
  • Collaborate with extended in‑scope customer teams to provide a consistent customer experience across company divisions and functional areas.
Position Qualifications

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of sales experience OR a high school diploma with at least 10 years of equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of oncology field sales experience.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to drive a motor vehicle.
  • Travel as required for the role.
Preferred Experience and Skills
  • Strong performance history in a sales, marketing, or oncology clinical role.
  • Clinical oncology experience across multiple solid tumors (e.g., renal cell carcinoma, prostate cancer).
Salary and Benefits

Salary range: $ – $. This range is the lowest to highest salary we believe we would pay for this role at the time of posting. Salary within the range is based on relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, government requirements, and business or organizational needs.

Eligible for annual bonus and long‑term incentive, if applicable.
