Sales Representative

Dread River Distilling Company is a Birmingham-based craft distillery that produces premium spirits with a commitment to quality, innovation and community. We are the first distillery in Birmingham to produce Bourbon in over 100 years. We are passionate about creating exceptional products while building strong relationships throughout Alabama’s beverage industry.

We are seeking motivated and energetic Sales Representatives to help grow our presence throughout Alabama by developing new accounts, supporting existing customers and increasing brand awareness.

This is a full‑time role for a Sales Representative based in Birmingham, AL. The Sales Representative will be responsible for promoting Dread River products, establishing and nurturing relationships with clients and vendors, conducting sales visits, negotiating deals, and achieving sales targets. Additionally, the role involves representing the brand at events, educating potential customers about the products, and identifying new business opportunities to drive revenue growth.

• Experience in sales, customer service, and client relationship management
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge or passion for handcrafted spirits, beverages, or similar industries
• Proven ability to meet sales goals and manage multiple accounts effectively
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate events and client appointments
• High level of organization, attention to detail, and ability to work independently
• Must be 21 years of age or older, as required by law for alcohol sales
• Must have a valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is an advantage
