Sales Representative, Business Development, Outside Sales
Dal‑Tile, a subsidiary of Mohawk Industries and the largest manufacturer of tile and natural stone in the United States, seeks an experienced Associate Sales Representative to expand dealer sales and deepen customer relationships within its assigned territory.
The Associate Sales Representative will:
Responsibilities- Increase dealer product sales in the assigned territory.
- Improve existing business through current dealers with a focus on the Studio Direct program and alignment with corporate and regional objectives.
- Develop new business within the territory.
- Enter call reports within Salesforce and maintain call cadence.
- Service existing Studio Direct dealers by conducting sales calls, developing business relationships, informing them of products, promotions, merchandising programs, and training dealer retail sales associates.
- Prospect, secure, and register new Studio Direct dealers.
- Work with Studio Direct dealers to specify Dal‑Tile products for residential new and remodel projects.
- Maintain Studio Direct samples and merchandise to position our products as go‑to for dealer retail sales associates.
- Present product knowledge seminars to dealers during regular sales meetings.
- Review, monitor, and track product usage by dealers and provide follow‑up data to GSM.
- Establish working relationships with all dealer customers to ensure comprehensive knowledge of their business practices and marketing support materials.
- Communicate merchandising trends, competitive products, and product forecasting needs to GSM.
- Perform all other assigned duties as required.
- High School Diploma required (no prior experience necessary).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Valid driver's license.
Self‑motivated and able to work independently. Demonstrated interpersonal skills including influencing and negotiation. Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office applications. Skilled at independent judgment, time management, and organizational tasks.
