Location: Birmingham, AL (Territory Includes Broader Birmingham and Tuscaloosa Areas)

Job Type: Full-time (Office provided; time heavily spent on-site with potential customers)

Compensation: $35,000 base + 10% uncapped commission

In this role, you will step into a highly successful franchise framework, acting as the public face of our company – getting face‑to‑face with decision‑makers, qualifying new opportunities, and executing a defined sales playbook to close high‑value commercial kitchen exhaust cleaning contracts.

What You'll Do
  • Execute the System: Utilize Kitchen Guard’s proven sales framework to predictably scale your territory and drive revenue
  • Drive Territory Growth: Actively hunt, make cold calls, and network to capitalize on our exceptional market momentum. Schedule 10-12 kitchen hood system inspections per week via phone, email, and in‑person outreach to restaurants and other commercial kitchens
  • Conduct On‑Site Inspections: Meet face‑to‑face with business owners to assess kitchen hood systems (including rooftop fans) and convey the value of fire and life safety compliance, effectively overcoming objections
  • Negotiate & Close: Decisively negotiate pricing and agreements to close contracts and move forward quickly
  • Maintain Momentum: Remain disciplined in implementing our established, successful processes while serving as the primary point of contact for your territory

You’re not selling a discretionary service – you’re persuading restaurant owners and facility managers to use the highest‑quality provider of these services to meet compliance requirements and improve fire safety. Compensation

Base Salary: $35,000 per year

Commission Model: 10% of annual contract value (uncapped)

Expected Performance: Closing 2-3 deals per week at $4,000‑$5,000 per deal results in realistic first‑year earnings of $60,000‑$85,000. Strong performers can exceed $100,000+.

Who We're Looking For
  • B2B Sales Expertise: Familiar with business‑to‑business sales and know how to navigate organizational decision‑makers. 1‑3 years of B2B outside sales, inside sales, or high‑volume prospecting experience
  • The Ultimate Communicator: Comfortable speaking to unknown people, facilitating discussions, and convincing others to cooperate with plans. Strong communication skills – phone, email, and in‑person interactions with decision‑makers
