MCA Regional Sales Specialist - Houston, TX

Position Overview

We are looking for a Regional Sales Specialist in the Microsurgery “MCA” division, responsible for supporting Baxter products in Houston/Houston Metro & Galveston, TX.

• Implement strategic business plans for the region in conjunction with leadership.
• Follow a consultative sales approach to support existing customers and develop new ones.
• Develop relationships with key microsurgery thought leaders.
• Achieve or exceed annual sales goals and quarterly sales priorities.
• Maintain relationships and gain trust with doctors and nurses that use Baxter solutions.
• Monitor sales against forecasts and assess market potential.
• Coordinate with hospital administration and supply chain management.
• Provide feedback to supervisor and marketing for product and pricing strategies.
• Support local, regional, and national trade shows and sales meetings.
• Deliver technical demonstrations and product information.

• Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of relevant experience OR 5+ years of operating room sales experience (Plastics or ENT preferred).
• High school diploma required.
• Strong communication and time‑management skills.
• Ability to build rapport with customers across the sales region.
• Maintain operating room credentialing certifications, including protocol, blood‑borne pathogen training, immunizations, drug and criminal background screening.
• Willingness to handle extensive overnight travel, operating room and trade‑show conditions.
• Availability to travel at least two days per week to trade shows, meetings and symposiums.

Estimated annual base salary: $83,000 – $114,000, plus a Sales Incentive Plan for commission on performance.
