Ferguson is hiring a Valve Automation Inside Sales Associate to support our Southeast region. This role reports directly to the V&A Sales Manager and focuses on sizing and quoting valve automation solutions while expanding customer engagement.
ScheduleMonday‑Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm
Responsibilities- Support the Southeast Inside and Outside Sales teams, as well as internal and external customers, with timely and professional service.
- Deliver exceptional customer support while developing a strong foundation in the V&A business.
- Size actuators, control valves, and accessories, and develop complete valve automation solutions daily.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key vendor partners to support sales growth and customer success.
- Collaborate with associates across the district to support and promote V&A products and initiatives.
- Establish trusted working relationships to ensure seamless communication and teamwork.
- Demonstrate a strong willingness to learn through ongoing training and continuous development, particularly in Valve Automation products and applications.
- 1-3 years sales experience is required.
- Strong attention to detail and a high aptitude for learning quickly.
- High level of integrity when problem solving.
- Ability to organize and prioritize work.
- Ability to efficiently operate computers, tablets and mobile devices.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.).
- Proficiency in Trilogie preferred.
Pay range: $17.77 – $40.66 per month for salaried roles or hourly for all other roles. Bonus or incentive plan eligible. Ferguson complies with all wage regulations. The starting wage may be higher in certain locations based on local or state wage requirements.
