Position Overview

Now Hiring:
Territory Account Manager

Full-Time | Outside Sales
Location: Birmingham, AL & Surrounding Territories

We’re looking for a motivated Account Manager to grow our presence throughout the Birmingham area by developing new business while strengthening relationships with existing customers.

What You’ll Do
As the primary sales representative for your territory, you’ll spend most of your time meeting customers face-to-face, identifying opportunities, and helping businesses find the right products for their operations.

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage and expand an established customer base
  • Prospect new accounts through cold calling, referrals, and territory development
  • Conduct regular in-person customer visits
  • Recommend products and solutions based on customer needs
  • Introduce new product lines and promotional opportunities
  • Assist customers with inventory planning and purchasing strategies
  • Process customer orders and maintain accurate sales records
  • Utilize CRM software to manage pipelines, activities, and follow-ups
  • Partner with vendors and internal teams to provide product knowledge and support
  • Deliver outstanding customer service while building long‑term relationships

What We’re Looking For

  • 3–5 years of outside sales experience preferred
  • Automotive, industrial, or related sales background preferred
  • Experience generating new business through prospecting
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage a sales territory
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Willingness to travel extensively throughout the assigned territory
  • Basic computer proficiency and CRM experience
