Achieve territory sales goals by promoting pharmaceutical products and services to physicians and other medical personnel within the assigned geography. Educate customers on product use, characteristics, advantages, and updates. Represent the company professionally in the field, ensuring high visibility and customer satisfaction, and maintain effective communication with key external and internal customers.
Responsibilities- Promote and educate physicians on our pharmaceutical products through one‑on‑one meetings, group presentations, speaker programs, and other company‑approved methods.
- Spend each day in the field as required for call planning, customer follow‑up, presentation preparation, appointment setting, and report generation.
- Meet call‑plan expectations and achieve territory product sales goals while adhering to APUS‑defined ethical sales practices, compliance guidelines, and promotional regulations.
- Execute company‑approved product marketing plans and territory/regional business‑plan activities.
- Support targeted customers using approved resources, sales materials, and promotional activities/programs as identified by Sales Management.
- Coordinate promotional efforts with peers across franchises and co‑promotion partners; manage company equipment and promotional materials in compliance with guidelines.
- Execute optimum territory sales strategy using the annual territory business plan, regional business plan, and call activity reports.
- Accurately report, submit sales‑call activities, territory expenses, and written reports within the deadlines defined by the Regional Sales Manager.
- Physician‑customer‑facing role that requires continuous learning and professional sales development.
- Reports to a National Sales Manager.
- Manages a territory responsible for multiple pharmaceutical products.
- Assumes a lead role within primary‑care and specialty‑counterpartworking relationships.
- Balances territory and regional work and projects while maintaining solid sales performance.
- Exhibits strong competencies in sales influence within the territory and region.
- Sales experience or proven sales abilities.
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical products and industry.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
- Proactive, self‑motivated, and takes ownership of situations.
- Analytical problem‑solving ability with business acumen.
- Strong motivation and persuasion skills.
- Team orientation.
- Proven record of sustained high sales performance and achievement.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
