Account Manager – Moss Point, MS
Location:
Moss Point, MS (ASP) – Ammonia production & filling.
We are looking for a high‑potential Account Manager to lead our Mid South territory, owning the region and driving value beyond commodity pricing.
Responsibilities- Lead the territory's success as the primary architect of account strategy.
- Expand our footprint through value‑based growth, positioning Airgas as the strategic partner rather than a price competitor.
- Serve as the lead advocate for customers, understanding their KPIs and buying motives to ensure long‑term retention and margin health.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with Customer Service Representatives, Engineering, and Field Service teams to provide technical support and on‑site expertise.
- Maintain strong internal relationships across departments to support a remote, work‑from‑home model.
- Create detailed business plans and SWOT analyses, keeping a 3‑year strategic vision for the Gulf Coast.
- Minimum 3 years of B2B technical/industrial sales experience, preferably value‑based selling.
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.); technical disciplines are a plus.
- Experience with complex contracts and index/formula‑based pricing.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% (car and some air) to serve the Mid South market.
- Base pay with commission potential.
