Our client is a growing manufacturer of processing equipment serving the food & beverage, protein processing, pharmaceutical, and personal care markets. With a differentiated product portfolio built through strategic acquisition and a direct-to-customer sales model, they are investing heavily in one of their largest and most established territories, seeking a Regional Sales Manager to protect a strong existing book of business while driving new share gain across their region.
Job Description:- Own the Number
:
Manage and grow a large, established $6M+ territory spanning across the Southeast
, focused on existing annuity revenue and the pursuit of new opportunities across food, beverage, protein, and pharmaceutical accounts. - Build the Channel
:
Protect and expand existing distribution partner relationships, while identifying regional coverage gaps and recruiting/onboarding new partners onto the product platform. - Drive Field Specification: Spend the majority of your week in front of end-user engineers and operations leaders, demonstrating differentiated product features that competitors can't match, and partnering with distributors on technical and commercial quotations.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of industrial outside sales with a proven track record of hitting and exceeding sales targets or experience working in a services/technical capacity.
- Self-starter mentality with strong relationship, presentation, and negotiation skills, and a genuine curiosity about how things work.
- Comfort with heavy field travel (60%+) and CRM/ERP discipline for accurate pipeline management and forecasting.
This is a Field Based Sales environment where candidates can live anywhere in the Southeast Region
, with a preference for Atlanta, GA. Will be responsible for covering FL, GA, NC, SC, TN, MS, AL. Must be willing to travel via car and plane 3-4 days a week to be on-site with customers.
