Classification: Federal Work Study
Responsibilities- Fly food preparation
- Maintain stocks of fruit flies by transferring them from old to new vials.
- Maintenance of genetic crosses.
- Prepare and maintain supplies for fly handling and experimental procedures.
- Assists in experimental design and project planning.
Federal Work/Study earnings will be paid biweekly in the form of a check or direct deposit payable to the student. This award does not credit to the account of the student as payment toward University charges.
Qualifications- Good attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and note-keeping skills.
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team.
