Program Coordinator II
Under minimal supervision, coordinates administrative, personnel and logistical support for a defined department program (s), often of a large and/or complex nature. Carries out established program objectives and directives. Follows established guidelines or protocols. Determines the best approach to accomplish assignments. May participate in program planning and in setting program objectives. May supervise support staff. May act as a communication liaison and special events planner.
Interfaces with outside resources such as volunteers, alumni, patients, other professionals in a defined field or with continuing education students. May be responsible for adherence to program budget and/or other fiscal duties. May assist with grant and contract preparation and submission. May handle data management.
This position will draft and review letter for the attending physicians & fellows. Review & edit clinical documents drafted by faculty, as requested. Collate changes for yearly review of the Residents Clinical Neonatology Manual. Prepare documents to include in manuals for publication & distribution. Editor of presentation including graphics, PowerPoint presentations, clinical presentations, hospital documents & other forms of clinical related writing.
Assist Neonatology directors & faculty with grants, research manuscripts, & abstracts.
- Design, write, and edit technical and non‑technical materials for the division, including clinical and general communication documents.
- Produce major documents developed by the division.
- Assist director and faculty with grant contract preparation and submission.
- Review and edit clinical documents drafted by faculty.
- Serve as the contact for the division in working with communication specialists and the Department of Publications to ensure the division website is updated regularly.
- Assist director and faculty with CVs and letters pertaining to grants, research manuscripts, and abstracts.
- Review, update, and edit multiple manuals, including the Resident's Manual, Divisional Manual, flyers, and brochures used internally and at conferences, events, and publications.
- Assist with graphs and tables for research posters and other research‑related statistics for reappointment of continued research grants and endowment funds.
- Maintain minutes of various meetings and activities for administrative support.
- Generate communication to physicians as needed.
- Support department management and staff with writing, editing, publishing, and design items.
- Assist with identifying and developing new research initiatives.
$18.35 - $21.00
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in a related field and one year of related experience required, OR an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.
- Preferred:
Bachelor's degree in English or Literature;
Grants and Research experience.
