** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and reporting to site leadership and/or public services as directed.

+ Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.

+ Monitor access points and public areas for unusual activity, assist with way finding and de-escalation, and support staff with visitor management as directed by site procedures.

+ Complete routine security-related reports such as shift activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation, and communicate relevant information during shift handoff.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

+ Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
