Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities;
Conduct regular and random patrols of hospital buildings, clinics, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify hazards or maintenance concerns;
Monitor access points and public areas, observing for unusual activity and/or policy violations, and report concerns per post orders;
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with on-site personnel and/or emergency responders as directed;
Complete required documentation such as incident reports, patrol logs, and shift activity notes, and communicate pertinent information during shift transitions
