Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour

Responsibilities- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utilities location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner while following post orders and reporting protocols.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout facilities, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
- Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or authorizations, and document security‑related events, observations, and incidents in accordance with site procedures.
- Support emergency and utility service continuity responses by communicating with site contacts, first responders, and/or Allied Universal leadership during outages, hazards, or other site‑related concerns.
- A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
- A concealed carry weapons permit.
- At least 1 year of security‑related experience.
- An armed guard card and/or license.
- At least 21 years of age.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Drug screen as permitted by law.
- Participation in industry‑specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
