Long Term Maintenance – No Per Diem. Must pass pre-employment Physical and Background. Work shift 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM Saturday and Sunday.

• Patrols buildings and grounds of the work site.
• Examines doors, windows, and gates to verify they are secure.
• Warns violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking, or carrying prohibited articles, and apprehends or expels miscreants.
• Inspects equipment and machinery to ascertain tampering has occurred.
• Watches for and reports irregularities, such as fire hazards, leaking water pipes, and security doors left unlocked.
• Observes departing personnel to guard against theft of company property.
• Sends alarm or calls police or fire department by telephone in case of fire or presence of unauthorized persons.
• Permits authorized persons to enter property.
• Registers at watch stations to record time of inspection trips.
• Records data, such as property damage, unusual occurrences, and malfunctioning of machinery or equipment, for supervisory staff.
• Completes records and maintains logs.
• Performs janitorial duties and sets thermostatic controls to maintain specified temperature in buildings or cold storage rooms.
• May be contacted for after-hour equipment pickup and delivery.
• Regulates vehicle and pedestrian traffic at plant entrance to maintain order.
• Observes and complies with all safety and project rules.
• Performs other duties as required.

• High school diploma or equivalent, plus previous experience in a related field.
• Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the field.
• Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform functions of the job.
• Works under immediate supervision; exercises limited independent judgment.
• Responds to standard requests from internal and external customers.
• Solve routine problems by following defined procedures.
• Applies basic technical skills and knowledge to complete assigned work.

Strength: standing 30%, walking 40%, sitting 30%; lifting 50 lb. carrying 50 lb.; pushing 70 ft‑lb.; pulling 70 ft‑lb. Additional mobility requirements include climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, handling, and fingering as noted.
