Part Time Security Officer; Unarmed

The Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and property. This role monitors facility access, enforces policies, and responds to safety concerns without the use of a weapon.

• Monitor and control access to the facility (main entrance/exit points)
• Greeting and check in visitors, vendors, and guests
• Conduct routine patrols of the building and surrounding property
• Enforce company policies related to safety and security
• Monitor security cameras and report suspicious activity
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, or emergencies appropriately
• Complete incident reports and maintain security and visitor logs
• Assist with emergency procedures (evacuations, weather, etc.)
• Ensure doors, gates, and access points are properly secured

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous security or related experience preferred
• Strong observation and communication skills
• Ability to remain calm and professional in high‑pressure situations
• Basic knowledge of safety procedures and emergency response

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to patrol indoor and outdoor areas
• Ability to respond quickly to incidents when needed
