Job Schedule- Mon 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
- Tue 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
- Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
- Thur 10:00 AM - 06:00 PM
- Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a government transportation location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including situations that may require an armed presence in accordance with post orders and applicable regulations.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of transit hubs, platforms, parking areas, administrative spaces, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
- Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials when required, and document security-related concerns, incidents, and/or observations in a timely manner.
- Communicate with site contacts, law enforcement, and/or emergency responders as needed, while supporting orderly operations during service disruptions, public interactions, and unusual events.
- Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Handcuffing certification is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
