Pay Rate: $16.75 / Hour

02:00 PM - 10:00 PM, Sat
02:00 PM - 10:00 PM, Sun
02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directional guidance, and support a professional presence that helps to maintain order within a busy healthcare environment.
• Assist with security-related responses to alarms, medical-related calls for assistance, and/or unusual activity while following post instructions and applicable site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
