The Birmingham Police Department is seeking APOSTC-certified law enforcement officers to serve as Part-Time Police Officers for special events in the City of Birmingham. Officers will enforce laws and provide security at events, with a minimum commitment of three events per year and shifts that may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
Compensation ranges from $25.33/hour to $37.43/hour and this role is not eligible for health benefits or retirement; part-time officers must maintain compliance
