Security Officer Armed Part Time Field Patrol

• Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out armed security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a hotel or resort location.
• Respond to incidents, critical situations, guest concerns, and alarms in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while following applicable armed post orders.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of guest areas, parking facilities, service corridors, exterior grounds, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting suspicious conditions, hazards, policy violations, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

• Possess at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience.
• Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
