** How This Role Works:*

** Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"):
** You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.

** Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program:
** In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

** Responsibilities:*
* + Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.

+ Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.

+ Assist with access control, visitor management, and directions while maintaining a professional presence and supporting a welcoming environment.

+ Document incidents, observations, and completed activities accurately and promptly in accordance with site-specific reporting procedures.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Have at least one year of security-related experience.

+ A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Be able to lift more than 20 pounds, preferred.

+ Possess CPR and First Aid certification, preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
