Metro Mechanical is hiring experienced HVAC service technicians for a full‑time, steady year‑round opportunity in Birmingham, Alabama. You’ll work independently on commercial HVAC and light refrigeration systems, leading service calls and mentoring junior technicians.

• Troubleshoot and repair commercial HVAC systems
• Diagnose HVAC system issues and perform preventive maintenance
• Lead service calls and act as a resource for junior technicians
• Communicate effectively with customers and team members
• Participate in on‑call rotation and handle emergency service calls
• Work Monday to Friday; rotating on‑call schedule

• 5+ years of HVAC experience (commercial preferred)
• Valid driver's license with clean MVR
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• Strong work ethic, technical skills, and leadership qualities
• Customer Service:
  Expert level
• Equipment Install:
  Expert level
• Troubleshooting:
  Expert level
• EPA – Universal (HVAC) certification (preferred)
• NATE certification (preferred)
