Sheet Metal Worker

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced sheet metal fabrication shop worker to perform all aspects of our sheet metal fabrication operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for working independently or alongside a team of skilled technicians to ensure that all projects are completed on time, to the required quality standards, and within budget.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain quality control processes to ensure that products meet customer specifications and company standards.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, identifying potential safety hazards and taking appropriate corrective action.
• Coordinate with shop foreman to ensure that all project requirements are met, and that work is delivered on time.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in sheet metal fabrication/welding is a plus.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to work in a team.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication techniques and equipment, including press brakes, shears, and welding equipment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.

Qualifications:

• Must be able to lift and carry heavy materials and stand for extended periods.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and under tight deadlines.
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Must be punctual and have a good work ethic.
