Site Foreman (Carpentry Background)

A growing commercial design & build contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Site Foreman with a carpentry background to support the delivery of projects across Birmingham and the Midlands. Projects typically include restaurants, bars, hotels and office fit-outs, so experience within commercial refurbishment or interior fit-out environments would be highly beneficial.

This is a hands‑on role where you will take responsibility for the day‑to‑day running of the site, coordinating trades and subcontractors, while also being willing to work on the tools on smaller projects when required.

• Day‑to‑day management of site operations
• Coordinating subcontractors and trades
• Maintaining health & safety and site standards
• Ensuring projects are delivered on time and to specification
• Supporting carpentry works on smaller projects while maintaining site oversight

• Strong carpentry/joinery background
• Experience supervising commercial fit‑out or refurbishment sites
• SMSTS, First Aid and CSCS required
• Good organisational and communication skills
• Ability to lead on site while remaining hands‑on when needed
