Job Summary

Primoris Services Corporation is seeking a skilled and reliable Operator for our San Francisco Project. This role involves operating various heavy equipment to support construction and infrastructure projects, ensuring safety and efficiency on the job site.

• Operate a variety of heavy equipment, including but not limited to excavators, bulldozers, loaders, backhoes, and trenchers, in a safe and efficient manner.
• Perform pre‑shift and post‑shift inspections of equipment, identifying and reporting any maintenance needs or defects.
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal regulations.
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders to ensure accurate and precise execution of tasks.
• Coordinate with site supervisors, engineers, and other team members to ensure project goals are met.
• Assist with manual labor tasks when not operating equipment, as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and equipment.
• Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and perform basic maintenance as required.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3‑5 years of experience operating heavy equipment in a construction or utility environment.
• Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record preferred.
• Proficient in operating multiple types of heavy equipment.
• Strong understanding of construction site safety practices and procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and grade stakes.
• Excellent hand‑eye coordination and spatial awareness.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow instructions.
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects, stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods in various weather conditions.
• Must be able to pass a pre‑employment drug screen and background check.
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification is a plus.
