Next Gen Security LLC is looking for an experienced electronic security installation technician in Irondale, Alabama. The role involves project oversight, system programming, commissioning, and device installation for high‑end integrated security systems. The position may require occasional travel.

• Project oversight in the field.
• System programming and activation.
• Installation of field devices.
• Commissioning and activation of security systems.
• Provide services and support for integrated security devices.
• Travel as required.

• Minimum 5 years of experience installing and maintaining enterprise‑level access control systems.
• Strong networking and IT knowledge.
• Superior problem‑solving and communication skills, with customers and internal staff.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Familiarity with local electronic security codes and industry standards.
• Experience in a chemical plant environment.
• Ability to safely operate a company vehicle.
• Willingness to train entry‑level technicians.
• Ability to climb ladders and safely use a bucket truck.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Visio, MS Project, and other Microsoft products.

• Certifications from Access Control System vendors:
  Software House, Genetec, Pro Watch, Lenel.
• Certifications from Video Management System vendors:
  Genetec, OnSSI, Max Pro, Avigilon, Milestone.
• Experience in computer operating systems, network design and implementation.
• TWIC Cardholder.
