Lead Plumbing Service Technician – Commercial & Industrial

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Lead Plumbing Service Technician to support commercial and industrial clients by troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems. This role is responsible for ensuring plumbing equipment and systems operate safely and efficiently while delivering exceptional customer service and technical expertise in the field.

The ideal candidate is a highly skilled plumbing professional with strong diagnostic abilities, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work independently while representing the company in a professional manner.

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial and industrial plumbing systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance on plumbing systems, fixtures, pumps, water heaters, and related equipment.
• Identify plumbing deficiencies and recommend corrective actions.
• Repair and replace piping systems, valves, fixtures, drains, pumps, water heaters, and other plumbing components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Complete service reports, work orders, and maintenance documentation accurately and timely.
• Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment in a safe and organized manner.
• Communicate professionally with customers, facility managers, and project teams.
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with local plumbing codes, company standards, and safety requirements.
• Support emergency service calls and after‑hours work when required.

• Follow all OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
• Maintain safe work practices while working in occupied facilities and active industrial environments.
• Conduct job hazard assessments and identify potential safety concerns.
• Utilize proper PPE and safety procedures at all times.
• Promote a strong safety culture on every service call.

• Minimum 5+ years of commercial and/or industrial plumbing service experience

• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Experience servicing a wide range of plumbing systems and equipment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

• Previous lead technician experience.
• Experience working in commercial, industrial, healthcare, manufacturing, or institutional facilities.

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to climb ladders, work from lifts, and access elevated work areas.
• Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, and work in confined spaces.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Up to $40 per hour
