Role Overview
Field‑based student employment position focused on HVAC or Electronics at customer locations. The role involves learning through shadowing Controls Technicians, completing safety training, participating in team meetings, and finishing provided training modules.
Responsibilities- Shadow Controls Technicians on job sites
- Participate in all Trane Safety Training
- Attend all Team Meetings
- Complete Training Modules provided
- Currently enrolled in a BS/BA or Associate’s degree in HVAC or Electronics
- Must be able to work full‑time during the summer (40 hours weekly) and part‑time during the school year (no more than 20 hours weekly)
- Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with a clean driving record (no major or frequent traffic violations, including DUI, hit & run, license suspension, reckless/careless driving, or multiple minor infractions, within the previous 3 years)
- Strong interest in a part‑time student employment role with Trane Technologies
Hourly pay: $20.00. Compensation may vary based on factors such as seniority, merit, geographic location, education, experience, travel requirements, and union designation.
