SAK Construction has immediate openings for Tap Cutters and TV Techs in the Birmingham, AL area. SAK is an industry leader in pipeline rehabilitation (CIPP) and tunnel construction, offering immediate medical and dental insurance, union‑provided vacation pay, pension, and tremendous growth potential.
Job Highlights:
- Potential to make over $90,000.
- Work with high‑tech robotic equipment.
- Improve the quality of recreational waterways and drinking water while helping rebuild America's underground infrastructure.
- Travel as needed with all expenses paid plus per diem.
- Collaborate as a team toward successful rehabilitation and repair of sewer and storm‑water pipes.
- Operate construction equipment and related vehicles.
Requirements:
- Pass required screenings, including a driver's license check.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and be willing to learn a CDL; training and study assistance provided.
- Reinstate service laterals after rehabilitation.
- Have experience as a Tap Cutter or TV Tech in the CIPP industry.
- Can work in confined spaces and lift 80 pounds.
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Travel based on operational needs.
- Be self‑motivated and able to work with little direction.
