As an HVAC, Commercial Kitchen Equipment & Refrigeration Technician, you will be responsible for driving a company vehicle to customer sites to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair various commercial kitchen equipment. To succeed in this role, you must be self-sufficient, possess strong technical and troubleshooting skills, and demonstrate exceptional customer service abilities.
Responsibilities- Troubleshoot and repair commercial kitchen equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Inspect equipment and related components for safe operation.
- Communicate effectively with customers and branch staff regarding repair statuses, maintaining schedule adherence and addressing any delays.
- Complete service tickets in accordance with company procedures.
- Manage truck stock to ensure necessary parts are readily available.
- Maintain service vehicle, tools, and uniforms to meet Tech
24 standards. - Serve as a positive role model for less experienced technicians and promote company values.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, particularly those related to safety.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in commercial kitchen equipment repair.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Dependable, with the ability to work independently.
- Proficient in standard computer applications.
- Ownership of industry-standard hand tools.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the region.
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as part of an on-call rotation (frequency varies).
- Mechanically inclined with a desire to learn new techniques and approaches.
- Previous experience as a commercial food service technician is preferred.
Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
