Job Overview
This is skilled inspectional work in enforcing the ordinances and regulations governing plumbing and related installations.
JURISDICTION & YEARLY RATE- MOBILE COUNTY: $53,084 - $84,863
- CITY OF MOBILE: $44,735 - $71,516
- MOBILE COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT: $48,092 - $76,883
Graduation from a standard senior high school, or the successful completion of the General Educational Development (GED) test, supplemented by two years of trade school or college course work in plumbing and a minimum of three years journeyman level experience in the plumbing field; or a combination of education and experience equivalent to these requirements.
Special RequirementsMust possess a valid driver’s license from state of residence. Possession of a current Master or Journeyman Plumber certificate issued by the State of Alabama Plumbers and Gas Fitters Examining Board.
