The role involves diagnosing, repairing, and servicing a variety of commercial kitchen appliances and systems to ensure optimal functionality and compliance with industry standards.
Responsibilities- Diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of commercial kitchen equipment—including ovens, walk‑in coolers/freezers, dish machines, fryers, mixers, tilt skillets, and HVAC systems.
- Support clients by overseeing network services, performing equipment and circuit tests, troubleshooting issues, and resolving requests in a timely manner.
- Maintain relationships with customers and follow company guidelines for customer service.
- Identify and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and gas‑related issues with commercial kitchen equipment.
- High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree or certification preferred.
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience repairing and maintaining commercial kitchen equipment.
- Strong customer‑relationship building and communication skills.
- Ability to manage workflow in a timely, consistent manner.
- Ability to lift up to 55 pounds; lift/haul up to 100 pounds with assistance or equipment.
- Problem‑solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
- Preferred certifications: EPA 608, CFESA (Commercial Food Equipment Service Associate) in gas, electrical, steam, refrigeration, or electrical.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
- Pass satisfactory background and drug screening.
- Computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of all safety requirements.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds; frequently lift and move up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Comfortable working in confined spaces, at heights, standing, walking, bending, and climbing ladders.
- Extensive daily travel to work‑site locations.
- Exposure to electrical, steam, and high‑heat units requiring caution and safety equipment.
