RV Technician

Job Overview

As an RV Technician, you will possess advanced diagnostic and repair skills or have a strong passion for resolving mechanical, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and maintenance issues. Your role involves expertly diagnosing problems by analyzing and testing the RV to identify the nature of the issue. You will then present job cost estimates and identify any necessary parts replacements to your service writer.

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain recreational vehicles to ensure they are safe and functional for customers.
• Analyze and test RV systems to determine the nature of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or carpentry issues.
• Provide accurate job cost estimates and recommend parts replacements to the service writer.
• Work independently and as part of a team to complete repairs efficiently.
• Maintain a high level of customer service and communication throughout the repair process.

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in RV repair preferred.
• Proven experience as an RV Technician or in a similar role.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and a customer‑focused attitude.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Excellent customer service skills to interact with vendors and team members.

• $20 - $25/hour (based on experience)
