Tool Room Clerk

Position Summary The Tool Room Clerk will report directly to the branch Service Manager and will be responsible for supporting all Service Technicians through detailed handling of a variety of duties including handling incoming calls, creating dray tickets, shipping tools to other branches, maintaining clean and orderly work area, and other duties not specified.

• Tracks all tooling loaned out to Technicians
• Inspects, cleans, and repairs returned tooling
• Orders and maintains shop supplies and places tool orders as required
• Maintains work area in accordance with Contamination Control guidelines
• Performs basic building maintenance operations
• Completes accurate dray tickets
• Other duties assigned by Service Management

• High School Diploma or GED

• Basic Technical Skills
• Basic Computing Skills
• Excellent Organizational Skills

• Area Specific Technical Training
• OSHA & MSHA Required Training
• Compliance Training

• Work is normally performed in a Service Department shop or on location of customer job sites.
• Exposure to physical risk and all weather conditions is associated with this position.
• Standing on hard surfaces for extended periods of time is often required.
