We are seeking a motivated and skilled Electrician to join our team, dedicated to maintaining and enhancing electrical systems across diverse environments. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical wiring, equipment, and systems to ensure safety, compliance, and optimal performance. - Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in commercial, industrial, and construction settings using hand tools and power tools.
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute wiring layouts and system configurations.
- Perform electrical diagnostics using tools like ohmmeters and multimeters to identify faults and determine appropriate solutions.
- Ensure all work complies with local electrical codes, NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code), NEC standards, and safety procedures related to high‑voltage and low‑voltage electrical systems.
- Install electrical wiring for industrial equipment or infrastructure projects while maintaining strict adherence to safety protocols.
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or failures before they impact operations.
- Collaborate with construction teams on renovation projects by integrating electrical components seamlessly into existing structures while demonstrating strong blueprint reading skills.
- Completing terminations and splicing of medium voltage cables ranging from 5 kV - 35 kV
- Proven experience as an electrician with a strong background in industrial or commercial electrical systems.
- Knowledge of schematics, and electrical blueprints reading.
- Familiarity with NFPA 70 compliance standards, NEC regulations, and local electrical codes.
- Ability to perform electrical diagnostics accurately using testing devices.
- Experience working with high‑voltage (HV) and low‑voltage (LV) electrical wiring in various environments including construction sites or renovation projects.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, power drills, conduit benders, and other essential electrician’s equipment.
- Strong understanding of electrical safety procedures to prevent accidents during installation or maintenance tasks.
- Construction site experience with the ability to adapt quickly to changing project needs while maintaining quality standards.
- Experience in medium voltage (5 kV - 35 kV) terminations a plus, not required.
