Furniture Installer/Warehouse Rep $18 an hour Birmingham, AL Our client is seeking a dedicated and skilled Furniture Installer/Warehouse Rep to join their growing team. If you have a passion for building and creating, a strong work ethic, and a knack for problem-solving, please apply!

Position Responsibilities:

• Transform spaces by expertly installing and assembling a variety of furniture, including desks, chairs, workstations, and more.
• Ensure each installation is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.
• Prepare for installations by verifying orders, loading and unloading trucks, and preparing job sites.
• Conduct thorough inspections of completed installations, making necessary adjustments and repairs.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, both on job sites and in the warehouse.
• Provide exceptional customer service and product demonstrations as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and successful installations.
• Work in the warehouse when not out installing or making deliveries.

To be a good fit for this opportunity, you will have:

• Experience in furniture installation, carpentry, HVAC installation, furniture delivery, or a related field a plus.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to read and interpret assembly instructions and blueprints.
• Ability to lift and move heavy furniture items (up to 75 pounds) alone or with assistance.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug test.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
• General computer knowledge.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to learn and perform safety requirements.
