Electrician Lead - Hospital Maintenance - AM (141

Overview

Pay range: $33.85 - $55.00/hour

Oversees electrical maintenance and repair work in the hospital, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations while leading a team of electricians.

• High school diploma or GED and eight (8) years of related experience.
• Associates degree or technical diploma in Electrical Systems, Electrical Technology or a related field is preferred.
• State of Alabama (or reciprocal state) MC; NICET FAS II; and City of Birmingham MC is required.
• ASHE Senior Mechanic Evaluation and Certification for Healthcare (SRMECH) Certification required within 12 months of employment.
• Driving record should meet University underwriting guidelines to drive vehicle in performance of University business. Current guidelines include possession of a valid driver's license issued in the United States, at least 21 years of age and at least 3 years of driving experience. Must maintain an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
