A growing charter bus company in Birmingham, Alabama is seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our fleet maintenance team. We are looking for a dependable, hands‑on technician who takes pride in keeping our fleet safe, reliable, and road‑ready.

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on charter buses and other fleet vehicles
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and air brake systems
• Complete inspections and ensure vehicles meet DOT safety standards
• Maintain accurate repair and maintenance records
• Work efficiently to minimize vehicle downtime
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

• Full professional‑grade tool set, including advanced electrical/diagnostic tooling as required by the role.
• High proficiency with diagnostic software, scan tools, and service information systems.

• Minimum of 3 years of diesel mechanic experience
• Valid Class B CDL required
• Must provide your own tools
• Experience with heavy‑duty diesel engines and fleet maintenance
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Experience with Cummins, Allison, MCI, Prevost, or other heavy‑duty bus manufacturers
• Air brake experience or certification
