- Perform GTAW (TIG), SMAW (Stick), and other welding processes as required on carbon steel, stainless steel, and alloy piping systems.
- Produce high-quality welds that meet project specifications and applicable codes.
- Complete root, fill, and cap welds while maintaining proper weld procedures.
- Assist with fit-up, fabrication, and installation of piping systems when required.
- Inspect completed welds for quality and perform repairs as necessary.
- Operate welding equipment, grinders, cutting torches, and other fabrication tools safely.
- Maintain welding machines, tools, and equipment in good working condition.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and all applicable welding procedures.

The Pipe Welder is responsible for welding carbon steel, stainless steel, and alloy piping systems for commercial and industrial construction projects. Position Summary

- Produce high-quality welds that meet project specifications and applicable codes.

- 3+ years of commercial or industrial pipe welding experience preferred.
- Proficiency in GTAW (TIG) and SMAW (Stick) welding processes.
- Experience welding carbon steel, stainless steel, and other piping materials.
- Strong understanding of welding procedures, fit-up, and fabrication techniques.
- Ability to perform code-quality welds and pass required weld tests.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- AWS Welding Certification.
- ASME Section IX or other applicable welding qualifications.
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
- Experience with pressure piping, chilled water, steam, hydronic, or process piping systems.
- Experience working on commercial, industrial, healthcare, or manufacturing construction projects.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds.
- Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, climbing, and working in confined spaces.
- Ability to work from ladders, scaffolding, and aerial lifts.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment, including welding hood, respirator (when required), gloves, and protective clothing.
