HVAC-R Service Tech

Cool Sys is seeking an HVAC/R Service Technician to support our HVAC Wholesale clients within the Technical & Maintenance team. In this field-based role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial and industrial refrigeration and HVAC systems, focusing on efficiency, reliability, and safety. You'll perform startups, preventative maintenance, and emergency service while accurately documenting work in our systems. Working in a collaborative, safety-first culture, you'll use advanced tools and controls to solve complex issues, support customer uptime, and grow your technical expertise with ongoing training and career advancement opportunities across North America.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial and industrial HVAC/R systems for wholesale and end-user customers.
• Perform planned preventative maintenance, startups, and performance checks on refrigeration and HVAC equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and control issues using meters, gauges, and technical documentation.
• Recover, evacuate, charge, and document refrigerants in compliance with EPA and company standards.
• Communicate findings, repair options, and recommendations clearly to dispatch, customers, and internal teams.
• Complete work orders, service tickets, and parts usage accurately using mobile/CMMS tools.
• Follow Cool
• Sys safety-first practices, site procedures, and all regulatory requirements on every job.
• Collaborate with team members to resolve complex issues and support technical training and knowledge sharing.
