Position Overview:
Excellence Property Care Solutions Inc. is urgently seeking a reliable and skilled Appliance Repair Technician to join our team as a 1099 independent contractor in the Birmingham, Alabama area. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently and has expertise in diagnosing and repairing household appliances. The position offers flexibility with your schedule and the potential to earn between $2,000 to $3,000 per week based on the scope and complexity of the projects you take on.

We are especially looking for individuals who can cover a 50-mile radius around Birmingham, ensuring we can serve our clients in various locations efficiently. Whether you are based in Birmingham or surrounding areas, we welcome Appliance Technicians who are willing and able to travel to different job sites.

Appliance Technicians with a valid General Contractor License will be given priority consideration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair household appliances such as refrigerators, dishwashers, ovens, microwaves, washers, dryers, and more.

• Perform installations and routine maintenance as needed.

• Troubleshoot and resolve appliance issues efficiently, ensuring proper functionality.

• Complete work orders in a timely and professional manner.

• Adhere to all safety standards and maintain a clean, safe work environment.

• Provide professional communication with clients to ensure satisfaction.

• Supply your own tools and vehicle to cover service calls within the Birmingham area.

• Carry liability insurance (assistance provided if needed).

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Appliance Repair Technician or in a related field

• Strong knowledge of diagnosing and repairing major household appliances

• Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (must cover a 50-mile radius from Birmingham)

• Own tools required for appliance repair and maintenance

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

• Applicants with a valid General Contractor License will be prioritized
