The Heating Air Conditioning Technician will perform installation, repair, and maintenance of residential and light commercial HVAC systems in an on-site capacity based in Birmingham, AL. Day-to-day responsibilities include diagnosing system issues, performing routine preventive maintenance, checking refrigerant levels, inspecting electrical components, and ensuring safe, efficient system operation. The technician will respond to service calls, recommend appropriate solutions, and communicate clearly with customers about system performance and maintenance needs.

This is a full-time position that requires working in the field, adhering to safety standards, and collaborating with other team members to complete projects on schedule.

• Candidates should possess strong Troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve HVAC performance issues efficiently.
• Candidates should possess Plumbing and Preventive Maintenance skills to install, service, and maintain HVAC-related piping, drains, and systems.
• Candidates should possess EPA certification and knowledge of Electricity to handle refrigerants safely and work with electrical components and controls.
• Candidates should have familiarity with HVAC systems, tools, and safety procedures, along with basic mechanical aptitude.
• Candidates should have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and the ability to work in varying indoor and outdoor conditions.
• Candidates should demonstrate clear communication skills, customer service orientation, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Completion of a technical training program or relevant HVAC certification is preferred; prior experience in HVAC or related trades is beneficial.
