Aircraft Structures Technician

Location: Alabama & Mississippi Opportunities Available

Pay: Competitive Pay Based on Experience

Per Diem: Available on select assignments for qualified candidates

We are seeking experienced Aircraft Structures Technicians to support both military and commercial aviation programs across multiple locations in Alabama and Mississippi. These positions involve performing structural repairs, modifications, sheet metal work, and inspections on a variety of aircraft platforms.

• Perform aircraft structural repairs and modifications
• Complete sheet metal work, riveting, and component installations
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical manuals
• Troubleshoot and repair structural discrepancies
• Perform inspections and ensure work meets quality standards
• Document maintenance and repair activities accurately
• Follow all applicable safety, regulatory, and customer requirements

• Minimum 2+ years of aircraft structures experience
• Experience with sheet metal repairs, riveting, and structural modifications
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and maintenance documentation
• Familiarity with aircraft repair and maintenance procedures
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

• 4+ years of aircraft structures experience
• Military or commercial aircraft experience
• Experience in an MRO, manufacturing, depot, or modification environment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Own tools preferred for certain assignments

Positions are available in both hangar and production environments supporting military and commercial aircraft programs. Opportunities may include aircraft maintenance, modification, overhaul, and manufacturing projects depending on location and program needs.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Birmingham, AL.

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
