Full Time Family Self Sufficiency CASE AIDE is a contract position housed at Washington County DHR in Chatom, AL.
ResponsibilitiesThe Family Self‑Sufficiency Case Aide will provide support services under the direction of Department Staff to TANF recipients with the goal of helping them achieve self‑sufficiency. The case aide will provide support to professional case management staff and augment the efforts of the JOBS and/or Public Assistance (PA) staff in assisting eligible individuals to overcome barriers to employment, to increase their marketable skills and employability, to gain or retain employment and to transition from welfare to work.

- High School Diploma or GED
- Age 21 or older
- Reliable Auto with liability insurance
- Valid Alabama driver's license
- Criminal Background Check and Child Abuse Registry Clearance
Pay: $15.00/hr for 40 hours/week with paid holidays. Mileage reimbursement at $0.67 per mile. No paid benefits.
